The Problem With… Ke$ha’s “Your Love Is My Drug”… and summer

The Problem With… Ke$ha’s “Your Love Is My Drug” – Dallas Music – DC9 At Night.

I mentioned this before, but I’ll start getting paid for this next week. Life is good.

I sense a challenge, since pop music released since Autumn usually settles into posterity during the summer, where DJs play the same hits to a captive audience not enrolled in school. I hope some singles pop up this summer.

Another challenge, a lot of better examples of music have arrived at the Top 20 charts. I actually have no problem with “Nothin’ On You“or “Rude Boy“. I could also be I’m losing my edge.

I have just exam week left, but I sense a good summer up ahead.

This mashup provides a good summary of my last week at the Dallas Observer: Pop Music and Papa Roach.
